Lemon Banana Cake


  • Bananas 2 Nos
  • sugar 3 Tablespoons
  • milk 1/2 Cups
  • Butter 2 Tablespoons
  • Vanila extract 1 Teaspoons
  • nutmeg 1/2 Teaspoons
  • lemon zest 2 Teaspoons
  • lemon juice 1 Tablespoons
  • All Purpose Flour 1 Cups
  • Baking powder 1 Teaspoons
  • Baking soda 1 Teaspoons
  • salt 1 Pinch


Pre-Heat the oven to 175 degree. Brush the pan and dust with all purpose flour.

In a large bowl, add mashed bananas, egg, sugar, milk, butter , vanilla extract, nutmeg, lemon zest and juice. Beat well.

Mix All purpose flour , baking powder and baking soda with salt. add this mixture to the banana egg mix, gently fold well and check with the cake batter consistency.

Pour to the cake pan , bake for 30 minutes. Check with the tooth pick whether its clean or not.

Take off the oven, let it cool for 15 minutes and cut , serve.
