Rava Kesari with Jaggery

Ingredients

  • Semolina/Roasted Rava 1/2 Cups
  • Jaggery grated /powder 2 Tablespoons
  • Water 1 Cups
  • Ghee 2 Tablespoons
  • cashew nuts 3 Tablespoons
  • raisins 2 Tablespoons
  • cardamom 2 Nos
  • nutmeg grated 1/2 Teaspoons
  • clove 2 Nos
  • salt 1 Pinch

Directions

Its a Kesari recipe made in a healthy way, with jaggery instead sugar. Kids will love it , adults too. So lets go to the recipe.

Take a pan, add 2 tbsp ghee, fry raisins and cashew and keep aside.

In the same pan with left over ghee, add 2 cloves, cardamom crushed along with grated nutmeg.

Add roasted semolina to it , saute well and add water with jaggery and a pinch of salt.

Let it cook well and the water drains, saute till a halwa consistency ( it should comes off the pan)

Flame off and garnish with nuts and raisins.
